Guided Services Do Not Include the Following

• Guide gratuity (20% of guiding cost recommended).
• Montana fishing license (obtain yours today online at www.fwp.mt.gov). A fishing license is not needed for fishing private lakes/ponds.
• Yellowstone National Park Fishing Licenses (obtain yours today online at Recreation.gov).
• Private water access fees (aka “rod fee”).
• Entry fee into Yellowstone National Park (if applicable).
• Boots and/or waders (we rent certain sizes, we can recommend where to rent if we don’t have what you need).
• Terminal tackle such as nippers, clamps, net, floatant, weight, etc. (These items are not needed if there is a 1:1 ratio of clients to guides but highly recommended for 2:1 ratios.) Terminal tackle is available at the S|N Fly Shop.
• Fishing clothing items and accessories such as rain jackets, hats, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, etc. (can be obtained at the S|N Fly Shop).

Booking with Nelson’s Guides & Flies
50% of the total package price is required at the time your reservation is made. Reservations will be confirmed via email when your deposit is received. Acceptable methods of payment include checks, all major credit cards, ACH bank transfers and cash. Please make checks payable to “Nelson’s Guides and Flies” and send it to the address listed on the invoice. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your first guided fishing day.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to arrival date with a $50 per day cancelled rebooking fee. Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival will forfeit their deposit. A cancellation made within two weeks of the first day of their scheduled trip will be charged in full. If we are able to rebook the guides for the dates cancelled, we will issue a refund minus the rebooking fee. We do not make exceptions for change in travel plans, illness, weather, muddy rivers, high water, border issues, COVID or other unforeseen circumstances. If unforeseen circumstances prevent the guide from preforming safe and/or adequate services at the desired fishing location, we will work with the client to find other suitable fishing locations. We highly recommend trip insurance to cover any losses or interruption of travel plans due to unforeseen circumstances.
