Wade Fishing
We specialize in technical fly-fishing on the three local spring creeks, Armstrong’s, Depuy’s and Nelson’s Spring Creek (our home water). Spring Creeks are crystal clear and full of abundant bug life, resulting in large wary trout. Fishing a spring creek offers the opportunity to test your technical ability, from accurate casting, to matching the hatch.

We are authorized to guide fly fishing within Yellowstone National Park. YNP is strictly walk/wade trips with no felt sole boots allowed. The park is large with many excellent waters to fish. Yellowstone National Park offers the angler the opportunity to fish some great streams not far from the truck, or hike into the back country and pester some less disturbed fish.

We also offer fishing on small private streams where the fish see less pressure. Both Yellowstone National Park and the small private streams are usually accompanied by some windshield time. The furthest locations can take up to two hours to reach.

We offer a two day trip to private water near Checkerboard, MT. The property offers both lake and small stream fishing. The fish on the property see little pressure and we have exclusive rights to the fishing. The trip includes lodging in White Sulphur Springs, MT and 2 days of guided fishing. Please let us know if you are interested.

Float Trips
We offer float trips down the Yellowstone, Madison, and Boulder River. During these excursions, the anglers will be primarily be fishing standing up in casting braces while the guide maneuvers the boat down the river. These rivers are floated in either a drift boat or a raft and frequented depending upon fishing conditions.

We also enjoy fishing the local private small lakes. The lakes are best fished from a drift boat and can be a great way to diversify your fishing trip.

Custom Trips
We would be more than happy to help plan the perfect trip for your next fly fishing adventure to Montana. Based on the length of your trip, number of anglers, lodging location and general fishing ability we can create a custom fishing itinerary perfect for you including all the necessary private water reservations.

*Keep in mind that many of the private creeks and lakes require a reservation along with a separate access fee per angler (aka rod fee) that is not included in the price of a guided fishing trip.
