Checkerboard, MT.

Our private ranch in Checkerboard, MT has been in the Nelson family for generations. The property offers both lake and small stream fishing. The fish on the property see little pressure and we have exclusive rights to the fishing. This year we are offering a Checkerboard Fishing Package which is a two day fishing trip. The trip includes two night lodging in White Sulphur Springs, MT, private water access fees, and two days of guided fishing with one guide. White Sulphur Springs is about 20 minutes from the property we fish. It is a quaint Montana town that offers a look into real Montana. There are numerous restaurants for both breakfast and dinner. The Hot Springs Motel is newly renovated and with your stay you get to enjoy the outdoor natural hot springs pools. The trip we’ve put together offers our clients an opportunity to enjoy some world class fly fishing while taking in the vast landscapes of real Montana. The fishing package is not limited to two days. You can lengthen your fishing trip upon request and hire multiple guides for larger groups.
